Power of Mama is Growing– Thanks to You!

PoM are an all-female team of fearless firefighters and forest protectors. They are stepping up to protect their land, educate communities and keep wildlife safe. 

And because of your kind support, PoM are stronger than ever. They are making such powerful waves, that 16 more fearless women have recently joined! 

This remarkable group of women from the Tanjung Pura Village will help prevent fires from ravaging their land, protecting their community and their way of life.

But that’s not all. They’re also showing the world just how powerful women can be. They’re breaking down barriers, creating new chances for women to lead, and changing minds about women in the workforce.

These amazing women went through special training to learn how to:

• Fight and prevent forest fires
• Teach others how to care for the land and wildlife
• Connect with their community and inspire others to protect nature

Thanks to your help, PoM now has 101 active members from seven different villages! That’s 101 women working together to protect forests and build a better future, for everyone.
